SoundHelix is a free versatile Java framework for algorithmic random music composition. SoundHelix can generate random songs, play them (for example, on any number of MIDI devices or MIDI-capable software synthesizers) and is highly customizable using XML configuration. It produces enjoyable non-esoteric algorithmic random music and can generate full songs within a couple of milliseconds.

Version 0.6 has added the new LFO synchronization mode “segmentPair” and fixed applet to include the SoundHelix XML file URL in Facebook and Twitter URLs.
