Skout is the creator of an innovative place-based mobile social network and dating app. Skout was one of the very first mobile and internet people discovery apps to emphasize generalized public user location. The company has gone from being a small mobile development firm in California to selling its mobile social network to AT&T and Verizon. It allows users of android devices to sync their data and information across all their devices and lets them use the same social network on any of those devices. Skout Inc. is currently working with Verizon on a beta version of their mobile social network.
