An activation key is a code to register or activate a software application. It usually consists of letters and numbers with a dotted fundamental movement between sections. HandyTranslator is a free computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool with machine translation options for MS Word documents. New features include bi-directional translation memories (TM’s, i.e., the same translation memory can be used, for example, in English-French and French-English translation) and a graphical user interface window that floats over the text being translated, allowing the translator to enter his/her translation to both the document and the translation memory which is used for future assignments whenever the same or a similar sentence is encountered. The program also allows the use of glossaries. Both glossaries and TM’s are simple, easily-maintained text files that can be created/edited using several programs including the Notepad, MS Excel, etc.
